Alanté aims to empower patients and elevate their level of care
Alanté™, a recently launched integrated virtual healthcare solution, is on a mission to create pivotal change in the way physicians, healthcare providers and patients engage with each party. While the rates of telehealth technologies and platform adoption are steadily increasing with an evolving and public health landscape, the highest and best use has been difficult to quantify. The Scottsdale-based company seeks to best define and maximize technology used in telehealth and telemedicine to better serve our senior populations.
Virtual Healthcare Company Technology
The technology is used to elevate the level of care and trust from the patients’ and healthcare providers’ perspectives, mainly by employing the use of a dedicated healthcare coordinator, an Alanté employee available 24/7 to assist the patient in navigating the complex medical system. It also incorporates and maintains patients’ personal health records, giving healthcare providers full visibility into patients’ detailed medical history and other key elements to provide the best possible care.
“We feel there is a tremendous opportunity to reach more seniors who may usually be limited to stressful in-person options,” said Alanté CEO Mark Hansen.
“By developing a fully integrated virtual healthcare platform, we are able to relieve the burden of costly hospitalizations that can be taxing on our elder population, and increase the reach of healthcare providers, all while increasing the level of care for all parties.”
Virtual Healthcare Company Services
The company offers a wide variety of virtual care for its patients, all coordinated by the Alanté healthcare coordinator:
- Personal Health Record
- Chronic Care Management
- Remote Patient Monitoring
- Palliative Care
Personal Health Record
Alanté’s personal health record is central to the spectrum of services. Providers can access it to see accurate and up-to-date information. Patients have access to convenient care, and receive consistent feedback from a personal care coordinator.
Telemedicine / Telehealth
Telemedicine/telehealth allows patients with limited mobility, transportation or time to be in control of their health from their home. Additionally, Alanté simplifies care for patients in need of chronic care management by making it more cost effective and convenient for families.
Remote Patient Monitoring
Remote patient monitoring gives providers the ability to monitor patients remotely, using peripheral devices to collect biometric data like vital signs, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood oxygen levels, heart rate and electrocardiograms.
Palliative care provides symptom management and comfort care regarding any serious illness in conjunction with physicians’ treatment plans. Palliative care can be provided along with curative treatment.
Hansen added, “We believe our company’s technology can be part of a larger solution for transformative change in the treatment of our seniors.”
Alanté is an integrated virtual healthcare solution built to enrich the patient/physician relationship and experience. Alanté officially launched in 2021 as part of established operations that are centered on the administration and operation of inpatient, home and community-based healthcare services, with an overall goal of improving continuity of care while focusing on the best outcomes for all.
