Alanté™ Hires former Santé Regional Director of Therapy Quality Assurance and member of the Clinical Operations Team
PHOENIX – September 2021 – Alanté™, an integrated virtual healthcare system launched in 2021, promotes Carrie Wheeler as their Executive Director for Alanté Health and Primary Care Operations. Before accepting this position, she was the Regional Director of Quality Assurance and part of the Clinical Operations Team for Santé™.
Carrie was originally drawn to healthcare because of the potential to positively affect so many lives. Her skillset spans a broad spectrum of areas from providing direct care as an Occupational Therapist in home health, outpatient therapy, and skilled nursing to being a clinical educator, Medicare compliance auditor as well as a quality assurance and improvement specialist.
She has 15 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry with a special focus in post-acute care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from South Dakota State University, followed by a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Her educational background provides a thorough clinical and operational perspective into the post-acute care industry including chronic and acute care transitions. Dedicated to process improvement and management, she believes that a key component to success is building strong relationships internally and in the community to foster collaboration at every level.
